Inclusive language includes expressions that could apply to everyone, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or any aspect of the identity of a person, to avoid excluding or alienating them.<\/span><\/p> This language appears clearly or subtly in large-scale communications through collages of delighted faces belonging to different ethnicities, supposedly reflecting a well-established and lived Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (EDI). But what\u2019s really happening at the team level and how do these beautiful concepts manifest themselves through the communications and actions of a conscious and inclusive leader?<\/span><\/p> You, leader, are you sensitive to the inclusive language you use?
